Karl Friedrich Benz ( November 25, 1844 – April 4, 1929) was a German engine designer and car engineer, founder of the Mercedes-Benz.

In 1883, the three established another organization delivering modern machines: Benz & Company Rheinische Gasmotoren-Fabrik, typically alluded to as, Benz & Cie. Quickly growing to twenty-five employees, it soon started to create static gas motors too.

Based on his experience with bicycles, used similar technology when he made a vehicles. It emphasized wire wheels with a four-stroke engine of his own design between the back wheels, with an very advanced coil ignition and evaporation cooling rather than a radiator.Power was transmitted by method for two roller affixes to the back hub. Karl Benz completed his creation in1885 and named it the Benz Patent Motorwagen. On 29 January 1886, Benz got the first patent (DRP No. 37435) for a gas-fueled car.
