Tesla Motors, Inc. is an American organization Founded by Martin Eberhard and Elon Musk which designs, manufactures, and sells electric cars.Tesla Motors is named after electrical architect and physicist Nikola Tesla. The Tesla Roadster utilizes an AC  motor descended directly from 1882 Tesla's unique design.

The Tesla Roadster, the company's first vehicle which use lithium-ion battery cells and the first generation EV with a range greater than 200 miles (320 km) per charge.
Tesla Roadster
Models were acquainted with people in general in July 2006. The Tesla Roadster was emphasized on the cover of Time in December 2006 as the beneficiary of the magazine's "Best Inventions 2006—Transportation Invention" award. The first "Signature One Hundred" set of completely sold out in under three weeks, the second hundred sold out by October 2007, and general generation started on March 17, 2008.Later they released model S and Model X and Model 3.
Model S

The Model 3 was previously called the Model E .However, as per Elon Musk, full creation to satisfy expected interest could take up to 2020.Tesla is going for a US$35,000 starting price before any government incentives. The organization plans for the Model 3 are are part of Tesla's three step strategy where the battery and electric commute train innovation would be created and paid for through offers of the Tesla Roadster and Tesla Model S vehicles.Step one was making the Tesla Roadster high value, low volume. The Model S is step two with mid cost, mid volume. The step third will be low value, high volume. It will be 20% littler than the Model S.

Henry Ford

Henry Ford
Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was an American industrialist born in Greenfield Township, Michigan, U.S. and he is the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production.

Quadricycle
The Ford Quadricycle was the first vehicle invented by Henry Ford. Ford's first car was a simple frame with an ethanol-powered engine with four bicycle wheels. This Quadricycle was driven by a chain is a two cylinder engine with 4 HP. The transmission had only two gears (first for 10 mph (16 km/h), 2nd for 20 mph (32 km/h)) but Ford couldn't change into second gear because of absence of torque and did not have a reverse gear. It has a 3 US gal fuel tank under the seat.Ford test drove it on June 4, 1896, after test drives, achieving a top speed of 20 mph.

 Ford Model T
Ford achieved real success after forming the Ford Motor Company in 1903. Ford introduced the famous Model T in 1908, which was a success. He improved the assembly line process to reduce the costs of car manufacture. Around 1913, he introduced the first conveyor belt based assembly line in his Highland Park, Michigan plant. This system drastically reduced generation costs by reducing assembly time. His popular Model T was gathered in an insignificant ninety-three minutes and turn into one of the world's wealthiest men. He was a pioneer of "welfare capitalism" and amazed the world in 1914 by offering a $5 per day wage ($120 today), which more than doubled the rate of most of his workers.

The Duryea brothers

J. Frank Duryea (right),Charles Duryea
The Duryea brothersCharles Duryea (December 15, 1861 – September 28, 1938) and J. Frank Duryea (October 8, 1869 - February 15, 1967). They invented the first
gas-powered vehicles in America. Charles had the vision to get the idea off the ground. Frank had the  commitment for the completion of project. Frank did all of the mechanical work and changed a large portion of Charles' original design. It is more precise to say that Frank Duryea invented the first gas-fueled automobile in America in 1893-94.
On November 28, 1895, Frank Duryea won the first motor-car race in the United States, a 54-mile circle along the lakeshore from Chicago to Evanston and back again. The race was a frightening one- -it was held amid one of Chicago's great snowstorms, six inches of snow covered the race-track.Ten hours and 23 minutes after the race started, the Duryea wagon crossed the finish line, completing first. Mueller; a Benz supported Duryea, moto-cycle  It crossed the finish line 90 minutes after Duryea.
This race introduced Americans to the motor-wagon.For his part, Frank Duryea came back to his shop in Massachusetts and got to work. In 1896, the Duryeas built 13 cars by hand--and they became the largest automobile factory in the United States.

Karl Friedrich Benz

Karl Friedrich Benz

Karl Friedrich Benz ( November 25, 1844 – April 4, 1929) was a German engine designer and car engineer, founder of the Mercedes-Benz.

Benz's long lasting interest brought him to a bike repair shop in Mannheim claimed by Max Rose and Friedrich Wilhelm Eblinger. In 1883, the three established another organization delivering modern machines: Benz & Company Rheinische Gasmotoren-Fabrik, typically alluded to as, Benz & Cie. Quickly growing to twenty-five employees, it soon started to create static gas motors too.

1885 Benz Patent Motorwagen
The sucess of the organization gave Benz the chance to  indulge in his old passion of designing a horseless carriage. Based on his experience with bicycles, used similar technology when he made a vehicles. It emphasized wire wheels with a four-stroke engine of his own design between the back wheels, with an very advanced coil ignition and evaporation cooling rather than a radiator.Power was transmitted by method for two roller affixes to the back hub. Karl Benz completed his creation in1885 and named it the Benz Patent Motorwagen. On 29 January 1886, Benz got the first patent (DRP No. 37435) for a gas-fueled car.

Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler

Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler
Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler (March 17, 1834 – March 6, 1900) was an engineer, industrial designer and industrialist born in Schorndorf, in what is presently Germany. He was a pioneer of internal-combustion engines and automobile development. He invented the high-speed petrol engine.

The Reitwagen (riding car), the world's first
internal combustion motorcycle (1885)

In 1885, Gottlieb Daimler who acted as specialized chief of Deutz Gasmotorenfabrik, which Nikolaus Otto co-owned together with his partner Wilhelm Maybach, took Otto's internal combustion engine a step further and patented what is generally recognized as the prototype of the current gas motor. The Daimler-Maybach motor was little, lightweight, quick, used a gasoline-injected carburetor, and had a vertical chamber. The size, velocity, and proficiency of the engine allowed for a revolution in car design and Daimler is viewed as the first  inventor of a practical internal combustion engine.

Nicolas Joseph Cugnot

Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot
Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot (26 February 1725 – 2 October 1804) was a French inventor. He is known to have built the first working self-propelled mechanical vehicle, the world's first automobile. This claim is disputed by some sources, however, which suggest that Ferdinand Verbiest, as a member of a Jesuit mission in China, may have been the first to build, around 1672, a steam-powered vehicle but that was too small to carry a driver or passengers.

1769 Model
Nicolas Cugnot had started experimenting with working models of steam powered vehicles in 1765 and after four years was prepared to build his first working example. At the Paris Arsenal, Cugnot instructed his mechanic, a man named Brezin, to develop a three-wheeled military tractor utilizing a steam motor, which was to be utilized by the French armed force to haul heavy canons. Cugnot resolved the issue of converting the back-and-forth motion of a steam piston into a rotary motion. His Fardier à vapeur (steam wagon) was the first endeavor, and the next year he made changes to his extraordinary spluttering and murmuring steam beast. The new vehicle had two back wheels and one front wheel, which supported the steam boiler. It was steered by a tiller and rumored to have been equipped for pulling four tons of artillery.

With a top rate of 4 km/h, and no horse power, the vehicle needed to stop each ten to fifteen minutes to develop sufficient steam force to finish the task. A fairly inelegant issue, but a breakthrough.

First automobile accident
Scarcely after a year, Cugnot made his innovation a stride further and fabricated a steam-powered tricycle that could convey four travelers. At the same time, he slammed the vehicle into a stone wall, forever his name in the history books as the first individual to be involved in a motor vehicle accident. His bad fortunes continued with when one of his supporters died and the other was banished. Funds for Cugnot's street vehicle tries immediately gone away and his prize for his inventive work was a yearly annuity of 600 francs, granted by King Louis XV. That excessively was withdrawn with begin of the French Revolution and Cugnot died in Paris, almost poverty stricken.

Father Ferdinand Verbiest

Father Ferdinand Verbiest
Father Ferdinand Verbiest (9 October 1623 – 28 January 1688) was a Flemish Jesuit missionary in China during the Qing dynasty. He was born in Pittem near Tielt in the County of Flanders .He is known as Nan Huairen in Chinese.

The steam 'car' designed by Verbiest in 1672
During the 1670s, Verbiest planned what some case to be the first ever self moved vehicle  numerous case this as the world's first vehicles, notwithstanding its little size and the absence of confirmation that it was really fabricate.
Alongside his work in stargazing, Verbiest additionally tried different things with team. Around 1672 he outlined as a toy for the Chinese Emperor a steampushed trolley which was the first meeting expectations steam controlled vehicle .Verbiest depicts it in his work Astronomia Europea. As it was just 25.6 in long, and accordingly adequately a scale model, not intended to convey human travelers, nor a driver, it is not entirely precise to call it a "car".Steam was created in a ball-formed heater, rising through a channel at the top, from where it was coordinated at a straightforward, open 'steam turbine'  that drove the back wheels.
